The Society Of the Dominican Republic of Orthopedics and Trauma Regional North turned 10 years last month of May. They have been very fruitful, in which have carried out a without end of scientific and social activities, we have narrowed knots of friendship and we have sat down unit precedents and strength. The congresses or annual days have strengthened the knots among the Orthopedis of the whole Cibao and with specialists of great part of Latin America and little by little it leaves positioning our region in the map of world orthopedics.

     The invigoration of the residence of orthopedics of the University Regional Hospital José María Cabral and Báez, our hospital, is one of the indirect achievements of this Regional North and we glimpse in few years to the Cibao like place foundation in the national non alone orthopedics but also regional, Santiago already has at the moment the population and the highest proportion in Orthopedis with subspecialty of the country, energizing and renovating the quality from the treatment to the patients and improving the knowledge in general of the class, with a projection of continuing being developed in an exponential way, a change of the educational culture is also creating that you will bring changes without precedents and they revolutionized the way to exercise our specialty.

       We believe that another important achievement is the realization of the Christmas daypass in those which our couples and children and grandsons have the opportunity to be and to come closer.
